 குஜராத் குண்டு வெடிப்பு சம்பவ தீர்ப்பு தொடர்பாக பிரதமர் மோடி கூறிய கருத்துக்கு பல்வேறு கட்சி தலைவர்களும் கண்டனம் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். உத்தரபிரதேச மாநிலம் ஹர்தோய் நகரில் நடைபெற்ற பேரணியில் பிரதமர்  மோடி பேசுகையில், ‘கடந்த 2008ம் ஆண்டு அகமதாபாத் நகரில் நடந்த  குண்டுவெடிப்பு சம்பவங்களுக்கு சைக்கிள் (சமாஜ்வாதி கட்சியின் சின்னம்)  குண்டுகள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டன. கோத்ரா கலவரத்திற்கு பதிலடி கொடுக்கும்  வகையில் இந்த தாக்குதல் நடத்தப்பட்டன.
